Halloween with Home Depot

Happy October!!! If you didn’t know, let me the person to inform you that October is officially the best month of the year for three of the bestest major reasons:

  1. It’s my birthday month (thank you very much!)
  2. Pumpkin-spice Art City Donuts (You MUST try these if you’re in Utah)
  3. Halloween! (duh.)

And I mean these three reasons above quite literally.

Let’s focus on Halloween, though. If you grew up with me and have been to my house in October, then you know that my mom is the queen of Halloween! So it must have been from her that gave me the crazy genes to think of this creepy Halloween decoration idea. I do not get very spooked about zombies, or vampires, but dead bodies are preeeetty creepy, if you ask me. So what better spooky Halloween centerpiece for my (brand new) table than hands coming out of a grave??

I show you all the steps on how to create this VERY EASY and very inexpensive centerpiece idea on Home Depot’s blog. Basically you use plastic gloves, plaster, lag-bolts, & paint, so simple! So, head on over there to see the step-by-step instructions.

This look wouldn’t be complete without the new table I made from SCRATCH! I know a lot of you have asked for more details or more photos of my table, but I can’t release the instructions for the DIY table until I post it on Home Depot’s blog. So, thank you for your patience and excitement about my latest big Do It Yourself project, and know that it is coming SOON!

Thanks for reading, and make sure to head over to Home Depot’s blog to take a look at the how-to!
