20 Nov Death by Cookie In A Cookie

When I say “Death by Cookie In A Cookie” I mean that quite literally… Take some normal chocolate chip cookie dough, cover some cookies, and bake them. Yes, it’s as easy as it sounds!! And it’s one way of taking a “boring staple” like choc. chip cookies and adding some excitement. The way I layered it worked really well though, so try this technique of adding each layer on top of each other: one smaller scoop of cookie dough, your completed cookie (I used E.L. Fudge Cookies, Reeces, or an Oreo!), then, a larger scoop of cookie dough, squish them together, and fold the edges around so your inside cookie is hidden. Bake your cookie in a cookie, mine took about 16 minutes in a 375 degree oven, and when I took them out, they were slightly crunchy, but mostly soft. Part of the surprise is not knowing what the inside will be!! I bet you could try other inside cookies, too. Any interesting suggestions??

You are definitely my sister! I have been combining cookie dough and other cookies for at least 5 years now. My personal favorite is hot out of the oven slightly undercooked cookies (two) with raw cookie dough in the center. It’s a gooey hot mess, but boy is it delicious!!! Keep up the cookie creations!!!
