If you saw my previous post, you saw that I participated in Home Depot’s DIY Challenge! I actually created it a few months ago, and if you followed my SnapChat (@seekingalexi) you saw sneak peek posts about it as I was creating it! Well, the time has come that the post is finally LIVE and up on Home Depot’s blog! (PINCH ME!) I feel so lucky to have been able to participate in this challenge, Home Depot is such a great company to work with!
For this project, I was challenged to make something with LUMBER. Some of the other participants had other materials, like cement or copper. With my material, I wanted to make something practical that I already needed, which ended up being a c-base side table to fit around the arm of my couch. I’m in LOVE with how it turned out, and it was relatively easy!! Just had to use some elbow grease to sand it down so it was nice and smooth.
If you want a step-by-step on how I created the table, head over to Home Depot’s blog to check out all the details! It’s a one-weekend project and relatively inexpensive compared to the tables that inspired me (this West Elm table and this West Elm C-Base Side Table). Thanks for the support and I hope you enjoy!!
