This meal was SO extremely easy, and incredibly delicious! I was seriously blown away by how delicious it was. Which may or may not have been because there were more chips than lettuce. Either way, there’s not really a recipe to this, because you can just add as much of each the 7 layers as you desire.
Start off with your choice of meat, I chose shredded chicken leftover from yesterday’s roasted chicken. Add Rachel Ray’s taco seasoning, enough to coat your meat. Heat up your meat however you wish, then start the layers of your 7 layer taco salad! Do so in this order:
- Tortilla chips
- Meat seasoned with Rachel Ray’s homemade taco seasoning
- Shredded Mexican cheese
- Sour cream
- Fresh cilantro
